At the time the application is submitted, it is expected that parents and students understand and intend to fully comply with the academic program and uniform requirements of each school.

• Parents are responsible for making certain that applications arrive to the Regional School Choice Office.
• All applications submitted after the application deadline will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis according to the availability of seats at each school.
• Parents are strongly encouraged to list up to five selections of schools on the application form in the order of preference, ranking their selections from the highest to the lowest choice.
• Each child must submit a separate application even if the family has more than one child applying to the same school.

If a student is not selected for any of their choices, they will be placed on a wait list. Students will be selected from the wait list as seats become available.  Please note that the current wait lists, including the CREC year-to-year wait list, will be eliminated as of Friday, January 1, 2010. You need to reapply if you would like your child to be considered for Open Choice, a Magnet School, Charter School, or State Vocational Agri-Science and Technical School for the 2010-2011 school year.
