Montessori education has long been recognized around the world as a premier program committed to social reform and sustainability of the environment. The Montessori Method is taught in 125 countries in 22,000 schools. Our goal is to graduate students with a vision of what the world can be and the wherewithal to lead and accomplish that mission. Montessori students learn at their own individual pace through limited choice of activities across a wide array of hands-on materials. Montessori classrooms are multi-age with three age groupings for both individual and social development: Primary ages 3–6, Lower Elementary ages 6–9, and Upper Elementary ages 9–12. Our classrooms encourage children to respond to their natural drive to work and learn. The children’s inherent love of learning is encouraged by giving them opportunities to engage in spontaneous meaningful activities. Through their work, the children develop concentration, motivation, persistence and discipline.
