The Metropolitan Learning Center (MLC) offers students in grades 6-12 an integrated curriculum which prepares students to become productive citizens in an interconnected world. The curriculum emphasizes cultural, economic, environmental, political and social connections across nations. Students acquire problem solving, effective communication, and technological skills needed for success at the university level and in the knowledge-based global economy of the 21st century.

Extensive travel and study abroad opportunities serve to enhance the students’ classroom experience. College level course work is available through extensive Advanced Placement course offerings, partnerships with community colleges, and on-line collaboration with institutions of higher learning. MLC is housed in a state-of-the art facility featuring wireless internet connectivity and Smart Boards in each classroom.
