Hartford Magnet Middle School offers highly motivated students a rigorous core academic program with a focus on the arts and sciences. The school program fosters the development of critical thinking and analytical skills through inquiry. The science curriculum helps students explore the world around them and their responsibility in making it a better place to live. The arts program facilitates development of focus, attention to detail, imagination and judgment. Additionally, the arts program fosters teamwork, self-discipline and problem-solving.
